What It Takes to Walk Your Own Unique Path as a Creative

walking your own path as a creative requires far more than the basic questions.

it requires deep introspection,

deep inner knowledge,

radical questioning of ones values

and having a look at what the world deems as normal through an almost overly critical lens.

‘’why am i waking up at 7, just because the world makes it feel like that’s productive’’

‘’why am i posting on social media, even though it exhausts me inside, but everybody says it’s the only way to get my work seen’’

and the list goes on...

question everything.

this is how you find your true path.

our default mode as humans is to do things how they always have been done. subconciously we don’t want to be different from the ones around us.

it must work because everybody does it that way....right?

be brave enough to shape your entire life differently,

to mix up your daily routines in a way that feel alive to you,

to create and share and learn in ways that are true and feel good to YOU.

walking your own path takes bravery.

it takes time and patience and immense self knowledge.

but it is desperately needed.

what works for one person or even half the world, might not work for you.

so you have to be brave enough to do your own thing, to break all the rules on how things used to be done, even if you’re the only person on the entire planet doing it that way. it is the only way for a soul like yours to live a satisfied life.

the path might not be easy, you might want to quit and go back to comfort. it makes sense, give yourself compassion then, but never get off the real track.

you came here to walk your souls path, not the path laid out for you by others, society and man-made rules.
