this was one of my first shoots after taking a break for almost an entire year and i mostly wanted to focus on videos, instead of just taking photos.
me and julia have a strange & funny history. we met in 2021 and did a shoot in the tiny home studio i had in my living room back then. not even a month later we traveled to paris together, just because we wanted to. it was incredibly random and funny to think about how we had only met once before traveling to another country and staying in a small hotel room in the 14ᵉ arrondissement de Paris together.
I still remember it like it was yesterday and even though i feel a little sorry for taking a few too many silly candid photos of Julia, it was truly something i’ll always remember. We did a few more shoots after, one of the most known projects is the ‘‘femme fatale’’ shoot we did, where we rented a beautiful hotel room in the center of vienna.
For this shoot, we went to one of my favorite spots in nature, close to where i live. I cannot count the times i used this part of nature for shoots, but it simply never really gets old. We listened to music on a speaker (mostly lana del ray) and for about 98% of this shoot, i used my Sony FX3 (yes, even for the photos). This shoot consists mainly of film stills and i still have a ton of them to edit, so expect more to be added as time goes by.
